Meet Dr. Richard D’Avanzo
Dr. D’Avanzo is a Board-Certified Orthodontist dedicated to providing exceptional orthodontic care. In addition to his role at Rolling Oaks Dental, he is the owner of Belle Mead Orthodontics, where he applies his expertise to create healthy, beautiful smiles.
His academic journey began at Albright College, where he earned a degree in biology before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dental Medicine. Driven by a passion for orthodontics, he further specialized by obtaining a Master of Science in Oral Biology with an orthodontics specialty from Temple University School of Dentistry.
Before focusing on orthodontics, Dr. D’Avanzo completed a two-year general dentistry residency, giving him a comprehensive foundation in patient care. His career has been diverse, spanning private practice, multi-specialty collaborations, and academic teaching at Temple University’s School of Dentistry. His commitment to excellence has been recognized with the Children’s Award from the New Jersey Society of Dentistry and the Anesthesiology Award from the New Jersey Society of Anesthesiologists.
